Curated and hosted by Jay Stern and Victor Varnado, First Sundays is New York 's premier short comedy film festival, screening monthly since April, 2002. The festival has screened over 550 films, running the range of high-budget movies made by professionals to no-budget movies made by teenagers.  Besides featuring the best of New York City's comic talent, First Sundays has presented films from across North America and Europe, several of which have gone on to screen on BBC, Comedy Central, HBO, Cinemax, the IFC Channel, the HBO Comedy Festival, at Sundance and at Cannes. www.firstsundays.com

FIRST SUNDAYS PRESENTS: Low-budget high-concept filmmaking New York-based independent filmmakers and First Sundays curators Jay Stern and Victor Varnado present a 2-hour workshop on ultra low-budget filmmaking.  Using clips from their own work plus some First Sunday's favorites, Jay and Victor illustrate how to achieve high value cinematic magic with little to no resources.

Chicago Works, curated by Andrew Hicks , is a collection of videos that explores concepts surrounding the (virtual) body. Chicago Works presents the research of 14 video makers.
