Diverse Universe Performance Festival on iga-aastane rändav tegevuskunsti festival, mis ühendab Põhja-, Lõuna-, Ida- ja Lääne-Euroopa. Festival kaasab üle 300 kunstniku üle maailma ja ühendab 15 linna kümnes riigis. Festivali eesmärk on tuua kaasaegsesse kunsti tagasi eksperimentaalsus, nonkonformism ja loovus. Festivali geograafiline mastaapsus, osalevate kunstnike hulk ja kestus teevad Diverse Universe’ist suurima tegevuskunstifestivali Euroopas.
Diverse Universe is an annual nomadic performance festival, travelling through the East-South-West and North Europe and uniting more than 300 performance and live artists from all across the world and 15 different cities in ten countries. The aim is to bring experiments, non-conformism and creativity back to contemporary art. Festival activities promote cultural fluidity through exchange of ideas, concerns and cultural perspectives. The scale and duration of Diverse Universe make it one of the biggest experimental art festivals in Europe.

Non Grata (EST) – Around the name NON GRATA there have been different hushes and shushes for a long time. Already from the point of view of death of conventionalization of art it has embodied the horrible and unwanted disembodiment of human person, from which the meaninglessness of nowadays art, is pouring out. For those, whose world of arts starts from the point, where the art world ends, NON GRATA has been a liberator, the orphic gap in the seemingly unalterable course, which however betrays us, it is a cure from incest. The main point of the group is ethical – it is the image of primitivism, impersonality and experimental creativity!

Nagu muudki kunstid, on tänane luule liikunud lavale, sest mõttes, et kogu maailm on lava! Vaba lava! Luuletajatel on midagi öelda, ja seda tuleb öelda inimestele inimeste ees, nii et inimesed kuulevad ja aimavad, kui ka päris aru saa. Viljandi võlur Vootele Ruusmaa manab heli- ja hääleilmu. Sveta Grigorjeva, Maarja Kangro, Asko Künnap, Jürgen Rooste, Mikk von Berg ja Leonhard Lapin tulevad ja lammutavad sõnaga. Aga mitte ainult! Sest luuletus ei asu enam (pole tõttöelda kunagi asunudki) vaid sõnas.

Joaquín Alonso Munoz (Tšiili) – reflects in his art the concepts of power, violence, superficiality, stereotypes, clichés, gestures and death intertwined with his personal problems. Munoze’s work is seemingly superficial, oscillating on the border of conceptual confusion and formal seduction, where themes, forms, ideas and emotions change direction and transfer from work to work. His performances are not intended to solve problems from a single point of view or to be reduced to verbal translation. Through communication and memorable scenes, he creates a connection with the audience, in which we discover that experiences can replace understanding.
Nina Yhared (Mexico City) – Niña Yhared is a performance artist and researcher based in Mexico City, whose work has been recognized nationally and internationally. Niña Yhared has acted in over 150 performances in México, the United States, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Argentina. She earned her BA in Visual Arts at the School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving “La Esmeralda”, at the Mexican Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes. She holds a Master’s Degree (MFA) in Visual Arts at Faculty of Arts and Design from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She is currently completing her PhD in Visual Arts at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
Danny Gonzalez (Puerto Rico / USA) – is an artist with Puerto Rican roots living in Oklahoma. A former Marine who fought in Iraq, he has now transformed into a warrior fighting for a more open-minded society, whose weapons are graphics and performance! Danny has performed and presented his graphics in many European cities such as Paris, Bilbao, Mariehamn and across America and Mexico! Danny has cast aside his past to become himself, and to help others become who they were truly created to be!
Mathieu Sylvestre (France / Berlin) – Mathieu Sylvestre originally from France is an autodidact musician based in Berlin since 2010 and performs in several performance festivals and art events, in art galleries as musician or performance artist.
Wild Torus (New York City) – Wild Torus (USA) is an New York-based collective that creates live, interactive experiences within immersive, digital installations. Wild Torus is the spiritual practice of our current Internet-driven, consumerist society. Wild Torus uses both digital and physical means to create shared, multi-sensory happenings that challenge pervasive cultural beliefs. Their creations are mystical and spectacular, often with references to ancient aliens, cult theologies and Wild Torus’ own personal lives. Wild Torus is led by Vlady Voz Tokk, originally from Moscow, Russia; and Mág Ne Tá originally from Washington, D.C.
